The career counselling cell at Sat Paul Mittal School focuses on Clarity, Competence and Connect. It has been our endeavor to inform students of future career options and assist them in taking informed decisions about their careers. Beginning from Psychometric testing to helping students in profile building activities, the school has been instrumental in helping students in career mapping in line with their desired dream colleges. Right from assisting them in career planning to writing their letters of recommendations, to helping them with their essay and Statement of Purpose, we have been a very integral part of their aspirations and achievements with regards to their dream college.
We at Sat Paul Mittal School believe that helping a student find his/her right fit college and course makes the learning journey very purposeful and worthy. In sync with this, we have curated a Career and College Readiness Program (CCRP) especially for Class XI and XII students. The College and Career Readiness Program at Sat Paul Mittal School has been developed to provide college specific knowledge and also help students take informed decisions with regards to course /college with the college admission team and the faculty skill development workshops
As part of the CCRD program the school conducts many:-
- SKILL BASED WORKSHOPS-These workshops are conducted by the faculty of the colleges that participate in the CCRD program.
- CAREER BASED WORKSHOPS-Insights into career options available to students at various colleges is discussed. These workshops are handled by the Mindler team
- ALUMNI MENTORSHIP PROGRAM- Alumni Mentorship Program is another very interesting initiative where the Alumni undertake training session for students of class XI and XII.In order to make a smooth transition from High school to college, this initiative has been undertaken by the Alumni. The Alumni Mentorship Program also helps in soft skill development among students and enables rational thinking. The Annual Alumni meet helps students (XI and XII) connect in person with the alumni, discuss, deliberate to understand their journey, their challenges and milestones achieved and future career goals and plans.
The school helps all the Satyans aspiring to esteemed universities in United States of America (Common App, Coalition APP) and United Kingdom (UCAS). The entire documentation required to the above universities is handled in-house by the respective subject teachers and the career counselling cell. The school has a robust system to coordinate the entire college application process.
Sat Paul Mittal School has been registered with the College Board as the official center for Sat and Advance Placement tests. Satyans have the benefit of appearing for the exams from their school.
